During Hurricane Mathew of October 2016, the basement of the house I was renting flooded. I moved back with my parents while I started to look for a new place to live. In the meantime, I decided to mess around in my dad’s small shop behind the house. I decided to try and cut out my original Raleigh Skyline design out of wood. I posted it on Instagram to see if I could get some feedback and possibly make some extra cash for Christmas. By February I quit my full-time job to see where this new found passion could go. I haven’t looked back since. I am beyond thankful, blessed and fortunate to be in the situation I am and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
